Academic Subject Preparation

We offer preparation in the academic subject areas of English, Math, Science, History, and Foreign Languages. In addition, we provide academic subject preparation for Honors and Advanced Placement level classes. The main purpose of academic subject preparation is to provide assistance with current homework, long-term assignments, term papers, and projects. Sometimes you will need help with just one paper or have questions the night before the test. We are able to offer last minute help and encouragement.

Standardized Test Preparation

Standardized Test preparation is available for the SAT and SAT Subject Tests. We recommend using the official materials published by the testing bureaus to give you the most realistic types of questions on the test. We also provide a personalized preparation package for the standardized test. With constant practice and guidance from the tutor, you will become familiar with the exam questions and learn to approach tests with increased accuracy, speed, and comfort.

College Essay Preparation

College essay preparation is available to help applicants create a meaningful, insightful, and well-crafted statement. An applicant’s essay is often a crucial factor in the student’s academic file. Since so many qualified applicants are applying from either the same school or area, an exemplary essay makes the student’s unique abilities stand out and provides that special edge that can make all the difference in gaining admission. The advantage of Devon Review is that we have tutors who have learned how to make the essay the most informative and lively part of the application. College interview preparation is available to help applicants prepare and strengthen their interview techniques. Devon Review helps students anticipate thoughtful answers to potential interview questions, show interest in the individual university, ease fears on the interview day, and find ways to leave a positive lasting impression. Once the students are prepared, they enjoy having the chance to showcase their skills and also learn whether the university is the right fit.
